Yellow Springs, OH- The Lewis family is offering their Amusement Train ride for sale by online auction. The train was purchased in Cincinnati by Mr. Lewis over 50 years ago. Mr. Lewis would blow the train whistle, ring the bell and the neighbor kids would all come running to take a ride on the train that was set up in his own yard. Take a look in the photos for an idea of how the train track was set up! The complete train set includes a Cagney Class D 15" Gauge Steam Locomotive, Gas-powered Yard Locomotive (8hp Briggs & Stratton), Coal Tinder Car, (2) 3-Bench Passenger Cars and 600+ feet of track (43 Straight Pieces, 18 Ft. & 26 Curved Pieces,18 Ft.), a homemade switch, connectors & many spikes! This is a rare opportunity to own your own train! The steam engine was last run 4 years ago. The family shut it down, blew out all the lines with compressed air and have stored the cars in the garage. This train is in great shape! The passenger cars have been restored and are ready to go!
